Wild Om is bringing heated Power Yoga to Patterson! It is a practice that can change your attitude, enhance your day and enrich your life. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate, at their level.
There's No Place Like OM! When you enter the studio, you are part of a family that is courageously and fabulously diverse and unique. We support and inspire each other to explore what is possible within ourselves individually and as a thriving community.
Classes are 60 minutes long and will allow you to be present in your practice in a way that feels comfortable yet powerful to each yogi. Each class is guided by a meditation and this allows for personal intentions to be set, both on and off the mat. Advanced variations, as well as inversions, are offered in every class, as well as modifications to support the beginning yogi. Each practice offers a focussed, challenging, fun journey into yourself, all while getting your sweat on!
Renovations are complete and our space is fresh and fabulous! A coat of paint, new floors and new windows! Wild Om is definitely a space you'll be comfortable to lay your mat!
Are Wild Om classes for beginners?
YES! Wild Om is an all-levels practice designed for beginners and veterans alike. Yoga is the union of body and breath and the practice is accessible to all ages and levels. Poses are offered with modifications, at any level, and the yogi is encouraged to both honor their bodies and go to their edge. No matter what, all poses allow you the opportunity to increase strength and flexibility from wherever you are beginning and feel comfortable throughout the process.
If you are nervous about trying yoga for the first time, come a few minutes early so that you can set up your mat and ask any questions you may have.
How should I prepare for class?
Bring a mat and a block. We do have a few extras if you forget, but in the current times, it is recommended that you have your own.
Beat the Heat! Come to class well-hydrated and bring water. It is recommended that you only eat a light meal or snack within the two hours before practice. Please bring suitable clothes for movement and you might want to throw in a hand towel..
There are cubbies available to store you personal belongings, and though, please only bring what you need to class.
If it is your first class, please come a few minutes early to fill out a liability waiver.
What is a Private Lesson?
If you are interested in learning more about and building confidence in postures or refining your alignment, private lessons are available. The instructor can focus more on your goals and provide essential assists to support meeting them.
As well, Small Group instruction, Team practices and Private Parties are offered. Please see Stacey with any requests.
